Candle Maintenance & Care

• Trim the wick: Trim to 7mm (1/4 inch) before eachburn to prevent soot and smoking.
• The first burn is critical: Burn for at least 1-2 hours (or until the wax melts to the edge of the container) to prevent "tunneling".
• Maximum burn time: Do not burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
• When to stop: Stop using the candle when 10mm to 1cm (1/2 inch) of wax remains at the bottom.
• Use a snuffer: Use a wick dipper or snuffer to extinguish candles to reduce smoke and prevent hot wax from blowing out.
